Biography:
Norrin Radd, known as the Silver Surfer, made his first appearance in *Fantastic Four* #48 in 1966. He originated from the planet Zenn-La, a world devoted to peace and advanced technology.
To save his home from the planet-devouring Galactus, Norrin Radd agreed to become his herald. Galactus imbued him with the Power Cosmic, transforming him into the Silver Surfer, granting him immense power and a surfboard-like craft to traverse the cosmos.
As Galactus's herald, the Surfer sought out planets for his master to consume. However, upon arriving on Earth, the Silver Surfer encountered the Fantastic Four. Touched by their humanity, he rebelled against Galactus and ultimately helped them to defend Earth. He was then imprisoned on Earth by Galactus.
